What does the course involve? This course covers the basics of working in health and social care to help learners better understand what is involved and help them to access employment or volunteer opportunities in the sector. The course involves providing personal care, working and finding opportunities in health and social care, working with people with multiple needs and team work in a health and social care setting.

Are you eligible? Our courses are free/fully-funded for those aged 19+ who are unemployed and not in education or training.
How long does it take? The course runs for 5 days.
What can I do after completing the course? There are opportunities available to progress on to an Apprenticeship with a local care setting.
