On behalf of APM, Acorn Training provides one to one support to individuals on probation terms to overcome behavioural issues, address drug and alcohol dependencies, and manage learning difficulties and other complex issues.

This support programme has social inclusion at its core, understanding and tackling the challenges that our service users experience on a daily basis.

We help remove the barriers associated with accessing employment, training and education.

Each individual on our programme has a Case Manager and a Personal Mentor who works on a personalised action plan to access specialist support services including accredited personal development courses and vocational training.
Together with our range of specialist local partners in each area we tackle head on the divisive issue of social inclusion – delivering benefits to society as a whole.

We deliver this programme of support in partnership with APM in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
